First Day of Studying
My first day of studying did not go as planned. My original plan was to wake up at 5:30 am to wash my clothes and then start studying at 10 am but I overslept. When I woke up my brother was already washing his clothes so I had to wait until he was finished. So my day didn't go as planned but I won't let that stop me from studying hard. I have CIS, Spanish and Theology exams on Monday. Good luck on your exams people.

Taxi-driver viciously stabbed to death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frank Jacobs
The body of Frank Jacobs was recovered after six this morning at Vista Del Mar. The vehicle he was driving was found in Biscayne Village. Jacobs, a taxi driver, was viciously stabbed many times before his body was dumped in Ladyville. Recently, crime has been attacking our taxi drivers. Due to this, many taxi drivers are afraid of working in the night time or even to pick up strange looking persons. I'm not mad with them for doing this because in this day and age a man has to protect his own life. This shocking story that aired yesterday, 12th May, brought goosebumps all over my body. Belize is getting worst and worst..Let us pray for our country, Belize!!!!!
Stand up for whats right!!!
I know many times in life it seems as if doing the right things will harm us but they won't. When we do right, God is pleased and that's the only person that we need to please. Stand up for what is right regardless of the situation. You may not get a reward on earth but you will surely get it in heaven where life is sweeter that honey!!! Live, Love, Laugh........and ALWAYS do what's RIGHT!! God bless guys. Have a blesses night!

The Mango Menace!!!!
April and May are the best of times. In the old days, those who had mature bearing trees had it best - though they did face the occasional nuisance of school children trying to raid their trees.
But in 2011, the family that owns one venerable tree says the raiders have gone from a nuisance to a menace. And so, even though they have a special grafted tree that's in full flower, they're thinking of cutting it down, because the raiders have threatened them, for their own tree!
It's a crazy situation and Monica Bodden found out more today:.;

Many Belizeans enjoy the taste of mangoes around this time of the year. Whether it is ripe, green, or just in between, it's still a real treat - But for the Gabb family - mangoes have become synonymous with misery.
The problem isn't their mangoes on their 4 mango trees. Instead it is with those who are stealing them.
Michelle Gabb, Home Owner
"We haven't gotten a rest, it's like every day people keep coming in stealing the mangoes throwing stones at the house. If we tell them to come out of the yard they would pick up stones and throw it at us or tell us curse words, so we are coming to a conclusion of cutting down the trees."
The problem has gotten so bad that the family is even being threatened by these mango thieves. One such incident occurred on Sunday - when their home was stoned.
Michelle Gabb, Home Owner
"The electricity even went off after they throw stones at the house. The stones keep on coming. I was on the phone talking to the police, I just put down my phone because i couldn't take it anymore because the stones were slamming and slamming then when we went into the refrigerator we notice that it wasn't on, the fan and everything went off because the breaker went off. Then even tell my grandmother that they will come to shoot up the house they said to her 'you old B, you will dead and left the mangoes here ' the young lady says that she is going to bring her boyfriend to shoot up this house, just for the mangoes."
It has gotten to the point where the family says they are contemplating cutting down their 4 mango trees - trees that have been at the Gabb residence -for over 50 years.
Michelle Gabb, Home Owner
"I don't really want it because this tree at the front right here is very educational to me and to everybody because this is an engrafted mango tree that produces two different types of mangoes; the blue mango and the apple mango. I have never seen another tree like this and when the tourist comes to the church the tourists would show them the mango and show them how the tree is engrafted with the blue mangoes to the bottom and the apple mangoes to the top. We have four different types of mango. This tree has on two; the apple mango and the black mango. The second tree brings the thunder shaw mangoes and the tree in the back gives us the white mangoes so I don't know, maybe the public could do something to help us to keep the people form the yard or something."

"This happens every day?"

"Every day."

Imagine you are being threatened for your own mango tree . Belize is becoming more dangerous everyday and soon people will be afraid to even walk the streets. Let's come together to make Belize a better community where all citizens work for what they have instead of stealing from other people. Let's pray for God's blessing upon our nation so that we can be a better Belize!!

Pakistan PM Says Osama Assassination Is “Justice Done”
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s prime minister said Monday that Osama bin Laden’s death in an American raid was “indeed justice done” and insisted the relationship with the U.S. was still strong. But he warned Washington that future unilateral strikes could be met with “full force.”
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also expressed confidence in Pakistan’s military and Inter-Services Intelligence agency, which have been heavily criticized for failing to confront the U.S. Navy SEALs who conducted last week’s helicopter raid without notifying Pakistan first.
The operation took place May 2 in Abbottabad, an army town only two and a half hour’s drive outside the capital. The location of bin Laden’s hide-out has sparked suspicion that Pakistani officials knew where the al-Qaida leader was hiding and may have been helping him.
Gilani adamantly rejected those allegations, saying, “It is disingenuous for anyone to blame Pakistan or state institutions of Pakistan, including the ISI and the armed forces, for being in cahoots with al-Qaida.”
“Allegations of complicity or incompetence are absurd. Pakistan is not the birthplace of al-Qaida,” said Gilani in a speech to parliament. “We did not invite Osama bin Laden to Pakistan or even to Afghanistan.”
Gilani agreed that the failure to find bin Laden, who was reportedly living in Abbottabad for up to six years, was a mistake. But he insisted it wasn’t Pakistan’s alone.
“Yes, there has been an intelligence failure,” said Gilani. “It is not only ours but of all the intelligence agencies of the world.”
He said that the army will conduct an inquiry into the raid and military officials will brief parliament later in May.
The Pakistani military scrambled F-16 fighters and sent forces to bin Laden’s compound as soon as they were aware of the raid, said Gilani. Even though they were unable to interdict U.S. forces before they were on their way back to Afghanistan, he expressed confidence in their performance.
“Our response demonstrates that our armed forces reacted, as was expected of them,” said Gilani.
He warned the U.S. against launching future such attacks, saying “unilateralism runs the inherent risk of serious consequences.”
“Pakistan reserves the right to retaliate with full force,” said Gilani. “No one should underestimate the resolve and capability of our nation and armed forces to defend our sacred homeland.”
But he insisted that relations with the U.S. remain strong and the two countries have worked well together during this period of crisis.
“Our communications at the official and diplomatic levels with the U.S., during this phase, have been good, productive and straight forward,” said Gilani.
He also praised the result of the raid.
“Osama bin Laden was the most wanted terrorist and enemy number one of the civilized world,” said Gilani. “Elimination of Osama bin Laden, who launched waves after waves of terrorists attacks against innocent
attacks against innocent Pakistanis, is indeed justice done.”

Words of Wisdom!!
Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."~Matthew 7:7-8
The bible says that no matter what you need, God can provide. I have learned to apply this memory verse to my daily life and you should do the same. God is mighty and all powerful...through Christ all things are possible.!!!

The Power of Prayer!!!!!
Many people don't know how powerful prayer is...!!! When we ask God for something and truly believe that this is a good thing and trust in God...He will surely bless you with what you are praying for....Pray hard, Trust Hard...and Have FAITH!!!! The bible says that faith can move mountains...Even if a person has faith as small as a mustard seed!!!
God is MIGHTY and can make the impossible possible!!!God is a good God...YES HE IS!!!!!
"There is power in faith to not only overcome the temptations of the world but power to climb our own personal mountains, mountains so high and so steep as to seem to be impossible. But, Jesus tells us all things are possible "with God." (Matt. 19:26 NKJV) "
" Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6"
